Amanda Lynn's 2019 Elite Model Flower Crown Shoot at Martin Park Nature Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma | June 2018

When I started my photography journey, I had no idea my passion would be to photograph high school seniors.  I truly thought my passion would be little ones, especially since I have two of my own.  I ran out and and bought a ton of props for children, most of which I never used.  I photographed my children, my friends children, nieces, nephews, the list goes on.  Then, three years ago this August, I decided to put most of my focus on seniors and I started my senior model program.  Truth be told, I love photographing everybody, I really do, but there is a special place in my heart for my seniors.

I start accepting applications for my Elite Senior Model program in the late winter and I try to have my first group shoot around the end of their junior year.  This year I decided to go with the flower crown theme.  We met at Martin Park Nature Center in Oklahoma City.  I typically try to get a few group shots and then one or two individual shots of each senior for introducing them on social media.  My group shoots are not mandatory, but I do encourage everyone to participate.  Below is most of my 2019 Elite Senior Model Class.

I am so excited about this group of seniors and look forward to all of their individual sessions, as well as all of the group sessions we will have this year.  Our next group session is scheduled for next week and it will be a fun one!  I do have a few seniors that couldn't attend this shoot.  I will make sure they get introduced in a later blog  :)
